We are humbled by the fact that nearly all of our cases are referred to us by our clients and other attorneys.  Many of our referrals are received from lawyers who do not handle personal injury or contingent fee cases. We also receive referrals from other personal injury law firms that do not have the time, expertise or capital resources to properly pursue particular cases. CO-COUNSEL AND REFERRAL FEES

Slappey & Sadd, LLC can help you generate a source of income with no overhead. We routinely pay referral fees to other lawyers in accordance with the The Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Georgia. The Rules prohibit referral fees from being paid to non-lawyers.

The Rules also allow us to co-counsel a case with other lawyers and pay appropriate co counsel fees to those lawyers.
Likewise, we regularly seek out qualified lawyers in other states for co-counsel on our out of Georgia cases. Co-counseling with high quality local lawyers on our out-of-state cases provides our clients with expertise of the local environment, local contacts and reduced travel costs.
